The worst part about capturing the moon is if the weather decides it’s not going to cooperate. Last night here in North Texas as it always seems to be in the first week of May was full of clouds, thunder, hail, rain, wind, etc.
Apparently not on Cinco de Mayo, let’s take and put the camera away and just sit on the back porch and enjoy the light show from the storm. Mental note: Why does this always seem to happen during Mayfest?
Well, well, apparently the early bird does get the worm, unless you’re downing the worm and backwash at closing time on Cinco de Mayo. I digress, I woke around 6:15 Saturday morning, stepped outside for a little fresh air and ran right into to the Hare Moon sneaking out the back door.
